Steps to Add/Edit a Discount

1. Navigate to Discount Management:
   • Go to the relevant section in Zuriey POS where discounts are managed (typically found under Settings or Promotions).
2. Add a New Discount or Edit an Existing One:
   • Click on Add Discount to create a new discount or select an existing discount to edit.
3. Enter Discount Details:
   • Name: Provide a meaningful name for the discount (e.g., "Spring Sale", "Loyalty Discount").
   • Brand: Select the product brand to which this discount will apply.
   • Category: Choose the product category for the discount.
   • Location: Specify the location where the discount will be applicable.
   • Priority: Assign a priority level to the discount. Discounts with higher priority will take precedence over others when multiple discounts apply to the same brand or category. Note that priority is not considered for exact matches.
     • Example: If there are two discounts for the same brand/category, the one with the higher priority will be applied.
4. Select Discount Type:
   • Choose between Fixed Amount or Percentage for how the discount will be applied.
5. Set Start and End Dates:
   • Start At: Enter the start date for when the discount becomes active.
   • End At: Enter the end date for when the discount will no longer be valid.
6. Apply in Selling Price Groups:
   • If checked, this option allows the discount to be applied within specified selling price groups. If unchecked, it will not apply.
7. Apply in Customer Groups:
   • If checked, this option enables the discount to be applied within specific customer groups. If unchecked, it will not apply.
8. Is Active:
   • Toggle this option to activate or deactivate the discount as needed.
9. Save Changes:
   • After entering all relevant details, click on Save to apply your changes.
