Understanding Payment Accounts in Zuriey POS

Payment accounts in Zuriey POS function similarly to bank accounts, allowing businesses to manage various financial transactions efficiently. These accounts enable users to transfer money between accounts, deposit cash, pay suppliers, and record amounts received from customers.

Enabling Payment Accounts

To start using payment accounts in Zuriey POS, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Business Settings:
    • Go to Settings -> Business Settings -> Modules.
  2. Enable Payment Account Option:
    • Check the box for the Payment Account option.
  3. Save Changes:
    • Click on Save. After saving, the “Payment Accounts” option will appear in the left navigation bar.

Setting Up Payment Account Types and Sub-Types

  1. Access Account Types:
    • Navigate to Payment Accounts -> List Accounts -> Account Types.
  2. Add Account Type:
    • Click on the Add button.
    • Enter a name for the account type and submit it. Ensure that the Parent account type is unselected.
  3. Add Sub-Account Type:
    • To create a sub-account type, click on the Add button again.
    • Enter the name of the sub-account type and select the appropriate Parent account type.
  4. Select Account Type During Creation:
    • When creating a new payment account, you can select the relevant account type based on your needs.

Creating Payment Accounts

To create a new payment account:

  1. Navigate to List Accounts:
    • Go to Payment Accounts -> List Accounts.
  2. Add New Account:
    • Click on the Add button.
  3. Fill in Required Details:
    • Enter details such as:
      • Name
      • Account Number
      • Account Type
      • Opening Balance
      • Account Details & Notes
  4. Additional Account Details:
    • In the Account Details section, you can include information like UPI ID, SWIFT code, BIN number, etc., depending on the account type.
  5. Save Changes:
    • After filling in all necessary information, save the new payment account.

Transferring Funds Between Payment Accounts

You can easily transfer funds between payment accounts:

  1. Access Fund Transfer Option:
    • In the Payment Accounts -> List Accounts, click on the option for fund transfer.
  2. Complete Transfer Process:
    • Follow the prompts to specify the accounts involved and complete the transfer.
