Creating and Printing a Gift Receipt in Zuriey POS

A gift receipt is a useful feature that allows you to provide proof of purchase without disclosing the amount spent. This is especially helpful for gifts, as it allows the recipient to exchange or return items without knowing the purchase price. Here’s how to set up and print a gift receipt in Zuriey POS.

Steps to Create a Gift Receipt

1. Add a New Invoice Layout:
   • Navigate to Settings -> Invoice Settings -> Invoice Layout.
   • Click on Add to create a new invoice layout.
   • Name the layout “Gift Receipt.”
2. Select Invoice Design:
   • In the invoice layout settings, choose the Invoice Design as Slim.
   • Check the box for Hide All Prices to ensure that no pricing information is displayed on the gift receipt.
3. Configure Business Settings:
   • Go to Business Settings -> POS.
   • In the Show Invoice Layout dropdown, select the newly created Gift Receipt layout.
   • Save your changes.

Printing a Gift Receipt

1. Access the POS Screen:
   • When you are ready to issue a gift receipt, navigate to the POS screen.
2. Select Gift Receipt Layout:
   • During the transaction, select the invoice layout as “Gift Receipt.”
3. Print the Invoice:
   • Complete the sale as usual and print the invoice. The printed receipt will now serve as a gift receipt, showing proof of purchase without revealing any prices.
