Invoice Layout in Zuriey POS
The Invoice Layout feature in Zuriey POS allows you to create and customize different invoice formats to suit your business needs. This guide will walk you through the steps to add a new invoice layout, customize its design, and include various details such as tax summaries, discounts, and letterheads.
Adding a New Invoice Layout
- Navigate to Invoice Settings:
- Go to Settings -> Invoice Settings -> Invoice Layout.
- Add New Layout:
- Click on the Add button.
- Enter Layout Details:
- Layout Name: Provide a unique and distinguishable name for the layout.
- Header Text: Add the text to be displayed at the top/header of the invoice (e.g., your shop name). Align it center using Heading 1 format.
- Other Relevant Details: Include any additional information you want on the invoice.
- Show/Hide Address Fields:
- You can choose to show or hide address fields based on your preference.
- Set Default Layout:
- Mark this layout as default if you want it to be used when no specific layout is found for a location.
- Save Changes:
- Click on Save to create the new invoice layout.
- Assign Layout to Business Location:
- To use this invoice layout in a specific location, go to Business Locations -> Edit and assign the newly created invoice layout.
Customizing Invoice Design
- In the invoice layout settings, you will find options for customizing invoice designs.
- Note that these designs are intended for browser-based printing only and are not suitable for print server-based printing.
- For thermal line printers, use the slim design option.
Additional Features in Invoice Layout
Tax Summary
- To display a tax summary on the invoice:
- Go to Add/Edit Invoice Layout.
- Enter a label in the “Tax Summary Label” field.
Total in Words
- To display the total amount in words:
- Enable the option “Show total in words.”
- Choose the desired “Word Format.”
Discounted Price
- To show discounted unit prices and discount amounts:
- Enable the following fields in the invoice layout:
- Discounted Unit Price Label
- Discount Label
- Enable the following fields in the invoice layout:
Display Unit Breakdown
- To show a reduction summary of quantity from multiple units:
- Enable the checkbox labeled “Show base unit details (If applicable).”
Display Base and Multiple Unit Details
If you have multiple units configured (e.g., 1 dozen = 12 pieces), follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Invoice Settings > Invoice Layout.
- Enable the checkbox for “Show base unit details.”
Now, when selecting a multiple unit, its details will be displayed on the invoice.
Adding Sale Custom Fields to Invoices
To include custom fields from sales on printed invoices:
- Go to Settings > Invoice Settings > Invoice Layout.
- Select the desired invoice layout.
- Enable checkboxes for custom fields (e.g., “Sell 1,” “Sell 2,” etc.).
- Save your changes.
These custom fields will now appear on invoices using this layout.
Adding a Letterhead
To include a letterhead image containing your business details (organization name, address, registration info):
- Navigate to Settings > Invoice Settings > Invoice Layout.
- Enable the checkbox for “Show Letterhead.”
- Upload your letterhead file (maximum size: 1 MB).
The letterhead will be displayed at the top portion of all invoices using this layout.
