Enabling and Setting Up Weighing Scale Integration

To enable weighing scale integration in Zuriey POS, follow these steps:

1. Access Weighing Scale Settings:
   • Go to Settings -> Business Settings -> POS.
2. Enable Weighing Scale:
   • Check the Enable Weighing Scale option and save your changes.
3. Configure Weighing Scale Settings:
   • Enter the following details:
     • Prefix: A prefix to be used in the barcode.
     • Product SKU Length: Specify the length of the product SKU.
     • Quantity Integer Part Length: Define how many digits the integer part of the quantity will have.
     • Quantity Fractional Part Length: Define how many digits the fractional part of the quantity will have.
   • Save your settings.
4. Using the Weighing Scale in POS:
   • In the POS screen, click on the weighing scale button next to the product SKU search field. This will open a modal where you can scan or enter the barcode generated by the weighing scale.
   • Upon successful matching of settings and barcode, the product will be added according to the specified quantity in the barcode.

Example Configuration

For instance, if you set the following values in your weighing scale settings:

• Prefix: 25
• Product SKU Length: 4
• Quantity Integer Part Length: 2
• Quantity Fractional Part Length: 2

The barcode read from the scale might look like this: 25 1234 35 50 (without spaces). This would read as:

• Product with SKU 1234
• Quantity 35.50

The system will automatically calculate the price by multiplying this quantity by the unit price.
