Printing Custom Labels in Zuriey POS
Zuriey POS includes a built-in feature for printing customized labels for products, making it easy to manage inventory and enhance product presentation. Here’s how to access and use the label printing feature effectively.
Accessing the Print Label Screen
You can access the print label screen from multiple locations within Zuriey POS:
- From the Products Sidebar Menu:
- Navigate to Products -> Print Labels.
- From View Products:
- Go to Products -> View Products and click on Actions -> Labels. This will add the selected product to the print label list.
- From Purchases:
- Navigate to Purchases -> List Purchases and click on Actions -> Labels. This will add the products from the selected purchase to the print label list.
Printing Labels
Once you are in the print label screen, follow these steps:
- Add Products:
- Enter the product name or scan the barcode/SKU ID of the products for which you want to print labels.
- Adjust Quantity:
- Specify the number of labels you want to print for each product.
- Select Information to Display:
- Under the heading “Information to show in labels,” check or uncheck options based on what you want included on the labels.
- Select Barcode Settings:
- Choose the appropriate barcode setting according to your sticker type. Common settings are provided, but you can also add new settings via Settings -> Barcode Settings.
- Preview Labels:
- Click on the Preview button to view how your labels will look.
- Print Labels:
- If everything looks good, click on the Print button.
- Note: Ensure that you set the margins to ‘default’ in your browser’s print window.
- Adjust for Sticker Size:
- If some information is cut off due to sticker size, consider hiding certain details or using a setting for 20 labels per sheet.
Common Error
- Error: Unsupported SKU ID for the Selected Barcode Type:
- This error indicates that the SKU provided does not meet the encoding requirements for the selected barcode type.
- Solution: Edit the product and change the barcode type to “Code 128,” then save and try printing the label again.
