Categorizing Products in Zuriey POS

Categorizing products is essential for efficient management and reporting within Zuriey POS. By organizing your products into categories and sub-categories, you can easily filter and analyze data related to your inventory.

Adding Categories and Sub-Categories

To add new categories and sub-categories, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Categories: Go to Products -> Categories.
2. Add a New Category:
   • Click on the Add button.
3. Enter Category Details:
   • Category Name: Provide a descriptive name for the category (e.g., "Electronics").
   • Category Code (HSN Code): Enter the HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) code associated with this category, which is useful for tax purposes.
4. Adding a Sub-Category:
   • If you are adding a sub-category, check the option labeled “Add as sub taxonomy.”
   • Select Parent Category: Choose the parent category under which this sub-category will fall (e.g., if adding "Mobile Phones" as a sub-category, select "Electronics" as the parent).
5. Save Changes: After entering all necessary information, click on the Save button to finalize the addition of the category or sub-category.
