Enabling and Managing Warranty in Zuriey POS

Managing warranties for products is an essential feature in Zuriey POS, allowing businesses to offer added value and assurance to their customers. Here’s how to enable and use the warranty feature effectively.

Enabling Warranty

  1. Navigate to Business Settings:
    • Go to Settings -> Business Settings -> Products.
  2. Enable Warranty:
    • Check the “Enable Warranty” checkbox to activate the warranty feature for products.

Using Warranty

Adding Warranty Types

  1. Go to Warranty Management:
    • Navigate to Products -> Warranty.
  2. Add New Warranty Type:
    • Click on the Add button to create a new warranty type.
    • Fill in the relevant details such as the warranty duration and any specific terms associated with that warranty.

Assigning Warranty to Products

  1. Add/Edit Product:
    • Go to the Add/Edit Product screen for the product you wish to assign a warranty to.
  2. Select Applicable Warranty:
    • In the product details, find the warranty section and select the appropriate warranty type that you created earlier.

Selling Products with Warranty

  • When you sell a product that has a warranty assigned, the transaction date will be recorded as the start date of the warranty period.
  • To display warranty information on receipts, make sure to enable this option in the invoice layout settings.
