Adding Custom Fields in Purchases in Zuriey POS

Custom fields allow you to capture additional information relevant to your purchase transactions in Zuriey POS. This feature can help tailor the purchasing process to meet your specific business needs.

Enabling Custom Fields for Purchases

To enable and configure custom fields in the Add/Edit Purchase and View Purchase sections, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Settings:
   • Go to Settings -> Business Settings.
2. Access Custom Field Labels:
   • Find the section labeled Labels for Purchase Custom Fields.
3. Add Custom Field Labels:
   • Provide a label for each custom field you wish to add. For example, you might want to add fields for "Delivery Instructions," "Project Code," or "Authorized By."
   • Once you enter a label, the corresponding custom field will automatically be enabled in the purchase forms.
4. Set Fields as Required (Optional):
   • If you want a particular custom field to be mandatory during purchase entry, check the “Is Required” checkbox next to that field.
   • This ensures that users cannot save a purchase without filling out this field.
5. Save Changes:
   • After adding your labels and configuring any required fields, make sure to save your changes.

Using Custom Fields in Purchases

Once you have enabled custom fields:

• When adding or editing a purchase, the custom fields will appear in the form.
• Fill out these fields as needed to capture any additional information relevant to your purchase transactions.
• You can also view these custom fields in the purchase records for reference and reporting purposes.
