Enabling Types of Service

1. Access Business Settings:
   • Go to Settings -> Business Settings -> Modules.
2. Enable Types of Service:
   • Check the box for “Types of Service”.
   • Click Save to apply the changes.

Adding New Types of Service

1. Navigate to Types of Service:
   • Go to Settings -> Types of Service.
2. Add a New Type:
   • Click on Add to create a new type of service.
3. Enter Details:
   • Name: Provide a name for the type of service (e.g., Dine-in, Takeaway, Courier).
   • Description: Add a brief description of the service type.
4. Select Price Group for Each Location:
   • For each location, select the applicable Price Group that will be used for this type of service.
   • Choose the Default Selling Price for selling products at their standard price.
5. Packing Charge:
   • Enter packing charges if applicable (fixed amount or percentage). Leave this field empty if not needed.
6. Enable Custom Fields:
   • If you want to include additional information in the POS screen, enable the option for custom fields.
7. Save Changes:
   • After entering all relevant details, click on Save to add the new type of service.

Using Types of Service in POS/Sales Screen

1. Access POS Screen:
   • When you are ready to process a sale, navigate to the POS screen.
2. Select Type of Service:
   • Before adding items to the sale, select the appropriate Type of Service from the dropdown menu.
3. Enter Relevant Details:
   • Fill in any additional details required based on the selected type of service.
4. Show Type of Service Information on Receipt:
   • To display the type of service information on customer receipts, enable this option in your invoice layout settings.
     • Go to Settings -> Invoice Settings -> Invoice Layout, and check the option to show type of service information.
