Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing, installing, or subscribing to Zuriey POS ("Platform", "Service"), whether through web browsers, thermal terminal clients, or mobile devices, you ("Merchant", "User") agree to be bound legally by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or deploy this software.

2. Service Provision & Software License

Zuriey POS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the cloud point of sale software for your legitimate business entities registered and operating within Ghana and West Africa.

• Multi-Location Operations: Depending on your active subscription tier, you may configure multiple branches, warehouses, and checkout counter terminals under a single business umbrella.
• Offline Continuity: The software includes an intelligent offline cache module allowing cashiers to ring up sales and print receipts without continuous internet. You agree to connect devices periodically to synchronize data.

3. 14-Day Free Trial & Subscriptions

Every new business account registered on Zuriey POS receives an initial 14-day fully featured free trial with zero upfront payment details required.

4. Merchant Obligations & Tax Compliance

While Zuriey POS provides automated tax computation tools tailored for Ghana (Standard VAT 15%, NHIL 2.5%, GETFund 2.5%, COVID-19 HRL 1%), you are solely responsible for:

• Verifying that your business TIN and legal registration details configured in the POS match your official GRA certificate.
• Properly assigning tax-exempt or standard tax groups to inventory items as defined in statutory regulations.
• Filing and remitting monthly tax returns to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) on time.

5. Service Availability & 99.9% Uptime SLA

Zuriey POS is hosted across tier-4 data centers with automated multi-zone failovers, targeting 99.9% platform availability. Scheduled maintenance is conducted during low-traffic off-peak hours (between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM GMT) with advance notice provided on the dashboard.

6. Merchant Data Sovereignty

You retain 100% full ownership of all your catalog data, sales orders, customer profiles, supplier books, and accounting ledgers. Zuriey POS will never sell, lease, or monetize your store data. You have the right to export full data backups at any moment without penalty.

7. Mobile Money & Third-Party Payments

Payment processing through MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, and card processors (such as Paystack and Flutterwave) is subject to the respective terms and clearing regulations of those payment providers. Zuriey POS is not liable for delayed payouts caused by telecom network downtime or payment provider clearance holds.
